Day 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival at Fiumicino or Ciampino airport, Rome. Transfer to Rome, check- in at hotel.
Free for lunch and free time all day.
Dinner in hotel or affiliated restaurants.
Day 2: ROME
Breakfast in hotel and departure in private bus for sightseeing tour of Rome, including the main churches (eg. Santa Maria Maggiore, Basilica di San Paolo, San Giovanni in Laterano), the most important squares and main monuments (eg. Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Palazzo Montcitorio, etc.). Then a visit to Piazza San Pietro: entrance to the Basilica and visit to the tombs of the Popes.

Free time in afternoon for individual activities.
Dinner in hotel or affiliated restaurants.
Day 3: ROME
Breakfast in hotel and departure in private bus for sightseeing tour of Rome, focusing on archeological sites (eg. Colosseo, Foro Romano, Circo Massimo, etc).

Day 4: ASSISI AND PERUGIA
Breakfast in hotel
Departure in private bus for Assisi and guided tour of the birth place of Saint Francis: the majestic Basilica conserving the relics of the Saint, the churches of Santa Chiara and San Rufino and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, famous throughout the world for the Porziuncola.
Free for lunch.
Free time in the afternoon followed by transfer to Perugia and check-in at hotel

Day 5: PERUGIA
Breakfast in hotel
Guided tour of Perugia, Etruscan in origin and principal city of the region; tour includes visit to Palazzo dei Priori where the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria and the Collegio del Cambio are located, the Fontana Maggiore (symbol of the city) and the Duomo, overlooking the city’s main square.
Dinner in hotel or affiliated restaurants.
Day 6: SIENA
Breakfast in hotel and departure for Siena. Morning dedicated to guided tour of the city, renowned for its artistic patrimony, the stylistic unity of its medieval urban decor and its famous Palio: naturally the conclusion of the tour is the famous Piazza del Campo, embracing visitors in its circular design.
Free for lunch and free time for individual activities.
Transfer by bus to Florence and check-in at city centre hotel.
Dinner in hotel or affiliated restaurants.
Day 7: FLORENCE
Breakfast in hotel followed by guided tour of Florence: Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore with its bell tower by Giotto, the baptistery of San Giovanni and the Brunelleschi Cupola; the Basilica of Santa Croce with its famous Giotto frescoes and the tombs of some of Italy’s most illustrious intellectuals, like Galileo Galiei and Michelangelo; the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria with the well-known Palazzo Vecchio.

Transfer by bus to the Riviera of Versilia in the late afternoon and check-in at hotel.

Day 8: CINQUE TERRE
Breakfast in hotel followed by guided tour of Florence: Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore with its bell tower by Giotto, the baptistery of San Giovanni and the Brunelleschi Cupola; the Basilica of Santa Croce with its famous Giotto frescoes and the tombs of some of Italy’s most illustrious intellectuals, like Galileo Galiei and Michelangelo; the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria with the well-knownPalazzo Vecchio.

Day 9: PISA AND LUCCA
Breakfast in hotel
Morning dedicated to guided tour of Pisa: Piazza dei Miracoli, patrimony of UNESCO, with the Duomo, the Battistero di San Giovanni and the world-known leaning tower, symbol of the city.
Free for lunch.
Transfer to Lucca in the afternoon and guided tour of the city: Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, the very heart of the city, the Duomo, dedicated to Saint Martin, and the Torre delle Ore, with its clockwork mechanism on view and spectacular views over the entire city.
Return to hotel in Versilia in late afternoon.

Day 10: LAKE GARDA
Breakfast in hotel
Departure for Lake Garda and guided tour of Sirmione, in particular the Grotte di Catullo and Rocca Scaligera.
Free for lunch.
Transfer to Desenzano del Garda, check-in at hotel and free time.
Dinner in hotel or affiliated restaurants.
Day 11: MILAN
Breakfast in hotel.
Departure for Milan and guided tour of the city; the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Castello Sforzesco and the Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie containing Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting The last Supper are among the main places of interest.
